This spice was developed when I was a kid. At my first job, back in 1978, my chef, John Paul, told me to make something that tasted better than Montreal spice. I came up with it in a hurry AND HE LOVED IT! I have used this in every place I have worked and on every steak, prime rib, roast beef and roasted chicken, I have cooked. (Probably close to a million steaks and prime ribs) Never once have I heard anything said, other than " What's that spice" and "can I have the recipe".
